Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) became a trending topic on Sunday for her criticism of Christian advertisements that were aired during the Super Bowl.
What were the ads about?
The “He Gets Us” campaign spent $20 million to broadcast two commercials during the annual sporting event.
One of the commercials depicted individuals from diverse backgrounds engaging in heated debates and altercations over political, religious, and justice-related topics, with the message “Jesus loved the people we hate” displayed at the conclusion.
The second advertisement showcased various pictures of children exhibiting kindness and compassion. It was described as follows: “Back in Jesus’ day, children were not seen in the same light as they are now.
This made his teachings on the importance of being childlike go against the norm.
“Jesus didn’t want us to act like adults,” the ad declares.
What did AOC say?
Toward the end of the Super Bowl, Ocasio-Cortez condemned the advertisements and claimed that Jesus would not approve of spending such a large sum of money “to make fascism look benign.”
AOC spends waaaay too much time looking for things to criticize.
She’s so wound up everything triggers her.
I have a cat that’s wound about as tightly as AOC. Doesn’t take much to get her to react. If I didn’t know better I’d think she was schizophrenic. Am I talking about my cat or AOC? Your guess. 😆 lol
A stiff cock in her mouth is all that’s needed for the bar slut.
I would not take the chance, you may get something that the Doctors can not get rid of.
Nothing personal, but Her living offends me.
Similar to my thinking.
Imagine how much good, including turning people to real Christianity if instead of expensive Super Bowl commercials , the money would be spend into helping people in need under the name of Jesus. A lot of good can be done with 100 million dollars.
But US Right Wing Christianity is no longer about helping people as much as it is about indoctrinating people in a restrictive dogma that likes to exclude lots of people…..sort of Calvinism in steroids.
Results? What kind of Christian you get if somebody is converted because of a commercial and what happens when this person learn that USA Christianity is not about been accepted for what you are, but complying to what they want you to be.
