Mitch McConnell Rushed to Hospital

According to RadarOnline.com, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had a scary fall this week, although the exact nature of the injuries sustained by the GOP politician is not known.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the 81-year-old McConnell was at a private dinner at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Washington, D.C. He reportedly tripped and fell inside the hotel.

On Thursday morning, McConnell’s spokesperson Doug Andres used social media to verify the fall incident and update the public on the situation. According to Andres, the Kentucky senator fell at a private dinner in a local hotel, and as a result, he has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

“Leader McConnell has been admitted to the hospital and is currently receiving medical attention,” Andres wrote.

As reported earlier by RadarOnline.com, McConnell’s fall and subsequent hospitalization occurred shortly after two Democratic senators were also admitted to hospitals in recent weeks.

One of them, Senator John Fetterman, checked himself into the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, in February, just a month after being sworn in, for treatment of clinical depression.

On February 16, Adam Jentleson, Fetterman’s chief of staff, stated that “John is receiving the necessary care and will soon recover.” Jentleson also disclosed that Fetterman has battled depression intermittently throughout his life, but his condition worsened after suffering a stroke in May 2022.

In the meantime, 89-year-old Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein was hospitalized in February after being diagnosed with shingles. Following her discharge from a San Francisco hospital, the Senator took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm that she is now back home and recuperating from the infection.

Earlier this week, Senator Feinstein expressed gratitude for the numerous well-wishers and the exceptional care provided by the hospital staff. “I am now recovering at home while continuing to receive treatment and I am eager to return to the Senate at the earliest opportunity,” she tweeted.

With McConnell’s recent fall and subsequent hospitalization in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday night, the already slim 51-49 Democrat-controlled Senate now has an even wider margin in the absence of the Senate Minority Leader.

    1. Sound kind of Mexican to me boy. Real Americans drink Bourbon

McConnell has been the most accomplished leader the GOP had well over a century. Just because the leader of your cult does not like him, does not means he does not deserved my grudgingly respect.
When did our country became a 3rd world country when we go around wishing politicians dead?

      1. Ha! Ha! Ha! McConnel is a treasonous RINO, who needs traitors like you to defend him. What? Are you his Chinese Brother-in-Law? Nothing wrong with Bourbon, but a dead McConnel is worth opening a quality bottle of tequila…

  1. BOO HOO!! THIS GUY HAS FALLEN FOR YEARS! MOST KENTUCKIANS ARE BACKWOOD LIBERAL BRAIN DEADS LIKE FETTERMAN! WHY DO YOU KEEP VOTING FOR THIS BUMBLING IDIOT????? STUPIDITY, IGNORANCE!!

  2. I do not like McConnell, but at least he is reasonable and play mostly by the rules.

What kind of moronic Republican Senator would take his place? Medicare Fraudster Rick Scott? Hated by all Ted Cruz? No Spine Little Marcos? Closeted Gay Graham? the Moronic Football coach from Alabama? or some other more despicable characters?
