According to an exclusive report by RadarOnline.com, Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesperson, was treated like a celebrity and given bodyguards by fellow pedophiles in the Colorado federal prison where he was serving time for child molestation.
In an interview with RadarOnline.com, Steven Nigg, who had previously assaulted Fogle in 2016, expressed his anger at the way the other inmates were treating Fogle as a hero. Nigg mentioned that the inmates, who are referred to as “Chomos” in prison, don’t have much.
According to an exclusive report by RadarOnline.com, Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesperson, was treated like a god by fellow pedophiles in the Colorado federal prison where he was serving time for child molestation.
Steven Nigg, who had previously assaulted Fogle in 2016, revealed in an interview with RadarOnline.com that the other inmates, known as “Chomos” in prison, considered Fogle to be famous and assigned bodyguards to protect him.
Fogle, who was sentenced to 15.5 years in 2015 after pleading guilty to child pornography and engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a minor, allegedly tried to organize the Chomos to avoid beatdowns from other inmates and demand more privileges from prison officials.
Steven Nigg, who was released from prison in February after serving 12 years on federal gun charges, revealed in an interview with RadarOnline.com that Jared Fogle was trying to rally the Chomos to demand more privileges and protection from other inmates. Nigg, who had previously assaulted Fogle in 2016, said that he lost his temper after seeing Fogle’s lack of remorse for the girls he had molested.
According to Nigg, Fogle acted like the victim and showed no regard for the harm he had caused. Nigg said that when he saw Fogle in the athletic field rec yard, he approached him, causing Fogle’s bodyguards to run away as they knew Nigg would not hesitate to go through them to get to Fogle.
“He was just hanging there,” he chuckled, recalling the incident. “Fogle tried to throw a punch, but I saw his shoulder move and I hit him extra hard. I only landed seven punches because I had to leave. I saw people walking around, and I didn’t want them to see me.”
As previously reported by RadarOnline.com, Fogle allegedly cried “like a 5-year-old” when he was taken to the infirmary.
Nigg, who is now 63, was eventually caught and spent five months in the Special Housing Unit (SHU). However, he gained a reputation throughout the prison as a punisher of perverts and was nicknamed “The Chomonator.”
Nigg was eventually transferred from Englewood, but he soon discovered that other Chomos (child molesters) throughout the federal prison system were targeting him for attacking their leader.
“Some of them, believe it or not, wanted bragging rights – saying that they beat the guy who beat Jared, their leader!” Nigg told RadarOnline.com. “They loved Jared and thought he was the most famous Chomo with them.”
Steven Nigg, who is known for his love for Tai Chi and his street fighting skills, has spent 12 years in seven different prisons where he has beaten up 21 convicted child molesters, some of whom were half his age. Nigg hopes to use his notoriety as “The Chomonator” to raise funds for non-profit organizations that assist abused children. He plans to name the foundation “The Chomonator’s Children’s Foundation.” As previously reported by RadarOnline.com, Jared Fogle’s predatory behavior was exposed in the docuseries Jared From Subway: Catching A Monster, which highlighted how Rochelle Herman helped in catching the offender.
Looks like the Chomonator became royalty…
