A guy is accused of manslaughter in a tragic incident that occurred outside of Houston, Texas, when he is said to have driven under the influence and caused a fatal crash. Driving his 2016 BMW at top speed, Daniel Alexander Rodriguez-Olivares was involved in an accident where the car flew over a creek, smashed through fences and barriers, and eventually flipped over in a retention ditch.

A female passenger was badly hurt in the collision. When Rodriguez-Olivares realized how serious the situation was, he forced his way out of the damaged car and into a nearby house in order to get assistance. The sound of breaking glass woke up the homeowners as the suspect smashed into their house.

One of the homeowners, Carlos Suarez, related the terrifying event of hearing what sounded like a loud automobile wreck around three in the morning, followed by glass shattering. Screaming that his wife was murdered and begging for help, Rodriguez-Olivares eventually passed out on Suarez’s bed.

Upon reaching the scene, the cops found Rodriguez-Olivares comatose within the house and his female passenger dead in the debris outside. The suspect was brought to the hospital in critical condition after showing signs of intoxication.

At this point, Rodriguez-Olivares is accused of intoxication manslaughter. The accident, which resulted in harm to a family-run business, is being looked into. Locals observed that although speeding was common in the area, collisions of this size were uncommon. The terrible event serves as a sobering reminder of what happens when a driver is intoxicated.
