A shocking incident at a Massachusetts supermarket has gone viral after two sisters were filmed attacking employees while allegedly trying to steal high-end food.

Olivia L. Byrd, 37, and Rahjane J. Byrd, 28, were caught on camera at a Market Basket in West Bridgewater last weekend swinging at staff and throwing bags, all while shouting racial slurs and obscenities.

Footage shows one sister striking a worker in the head while the other lunged at another employee, swinging a blue bag. Olivia can be heard repeatedly shouting the n-word and threatening the staff in a frenzied tirade.

The chaos reportedly erupted after the sisters were stopped while attempting to leave with lobster, ribeye steaks, and truffle butter—items they allegedly didn’t pay for. Police said both were taken into custody outside the store and later arraigned in Brockton District Court before being released on personal recognizance.

Court documents state that the Byrds claimed they were fulfilling an Instacart order, but couldn’t provide proof when asked. Olivia allegedly told officers the order had been canceled and the confirmation had disappeared from her phone.

They now face charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, shoplifting, and disorderly conduct.

A bystander, Jeff Cuddy, captured the violent confrontation on his phone while shopping for steaks. His video has racked up more than 500,000 views on Facebook, with many praising the calm and professional response of the store staff despite the sisters’ outburst.

The sisters are scheduled to return to court on December 17.
