Two Dead, One Critically Injured in Shocking Illinois Restaurant Shooting

A night out turned deadly in Aurora, Illinois, when a shooting at Two Brothers Roundhouse left two people dead and one in critical condition. Police were called to the scene around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, after multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, believed to be the shooter, was pronounced dead at the scene. A man and a woman were rushed to a nearby hospital, where the woman later died. The man remains in critical condition.

Authorities said preliminary reports indicate all three individuals knew each other and that the shooting appeared to be linked to a domestic dispute. Autopsies will be conducted by the Kane County Coroner’s Office to confirm the identities of the deceased.

Witnesses told CBS News that the shooting occurred while the band Beyond the Blonde was performing, causing panic as restaurant-goers fled for safety. The band posted on Facebook expressing their shock and sorrow over the tragedy.

Aurora Police Chief Matt Thomas released a statement, saying, “Our hearts are heavy tonight. Members of our community were senselessly shot while simply trying to enjoy a night out, and our entire city feels the weight of that violence… we are standing with you and doing everything we can to make sure you have answers.”

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Aurora Police Department’s Investigations Division at (630) 256-5500.
