A Spirit Airlines passenger was kicked off a flight in dramatic fashion after getting into a heated argument with airline staff before takeoff — and the entire confrontation was caught on camera.
The chaotic scene unfolded Thursday while the aircraft was still on the tarmac at Cyril E. King Airport. Video shows the visibly angry woman sparring with two staff members, apparently over a seating issue, as she points up toward a number on the overhead bin.
What starts as a tense exchange quickly spirals into full-blown chaos. Security officers move in and forcibly escort the woman off the plane, pulling her down the boarding stairs and onto the tarmac while another worker leads her two dogs away from the aircraft.

Sources say the passenger was “acting crazy,” shouting profanity, and aggressively ordering around Spirit employees as the situation escalated.
Her two dogs — believed to be Boston terriers — were front-row witnesses to the meltdown. Video shows them watching as their owner is led down the stairs in handcuffs, struggling with officers as stunned passengers gasp and film the moment on their phones.
Despite the explosive incident, the flight operated by Spirit Airlines eventually departed without further issues and arrived at its final destination in Fort Lauderdale.
Spirit Airlines has not yet responded to requests for comment, and the St. Thomas Police Service has also remained silent so far.
