A quiet morning in Brooklyn turned into a nightmare after a 75-year-old grandmother was brutally attacked right outside her own home—and the entire thing was caught on camera.
Linda Scott was in her front yard in Crown Heights around 9 a.m. on April 6 when she got into a heated argument with a neighbor over dogs repeatedly leaving messes near her property. But what happened next quickly spiraled out of control.
Doorbell footage shows the confrontation unfolding before a second woman—wearing a red sweatshirt—suddenly rushes in and launches a violent attack.
Scott was knocked to the ground as the woman repeatedly punched her in the head. Even as the elderly woman lay defenseless, the attacker continued, stomping on her face at least twice in a horrifying assault.
The beating only stopped when a nearby neighbor—a Navy veteran—rushed in and intervened.
Scott later said she genuinely feared she might not survive.
“God, I hope I live,” she recalled thinking during the attack. She tried to call 911 but was too shaken to do it.
The injuries were severe. Scott suffered heavy bruising to her face and body and was rushed to the hospital, where she remained for two days.
Her son, Michael, said he found his mother bleeding from her mouth and nose after the attack—an image that still haunts him.

Neighbors say tensions in the area have been building for some time, with ongoing issues involving a nearby vacant lot where dog owners frequently let their pets relieve themselves. Scott had reportedly used ammonia in the area as a deterrent, which may have contributed to the argument.
Still, her family says nothing justifies what happened.
“There’s no reason to beat someone like that—especially an elderly woman,” Scott said.
The suspect, described as a woman wearing a red sweatshirt, has not yet been arrested.

Sounds like a Democrat junkie doing their customary ‘thing’…
Why hasn’t it been arrested I’m sure it lives in that area. The cops could identify it if they tried but sadly they live in an area where judges will just let it go. The thing in the red is complete trash and will continue to behave like this because it’s all it knows, this isn’t even human. Lock it up for at least 5 years no early release.
