A terrifying crash at a rally race in Argentina turned deadly in seconds — and the shocking moment was all caught on video.
Footage from the event in Mina Clavero shows a high-speed rally car suddenly losing control and flipping violently toward a crowd of spectators gathered on rocky terrain. The car, a Volkswagen Polo R5, reportedly clipped a dirt mound during Sunday’s race, sending it airborne and straight into fans.
The vehicle barrel-rolled multiple times — at least six, according to reports — as people scrambled in panic to get out of the way.
In one heart-stopping moment, a woman can be seen grabbing a young girl in a blue top and yanking her to safety just before the out-of-control car tore past them, throwing debris in every direction.
Despite the desperate attempts to escape, tragedy struck.
A 25-year-old spectator, identified as Brahian Zarate Gonzalez, later died from his injuries after being rushed to the hospital. A 40-year-old woman suffered a broken ankle, while the young girl seen in the video was left with bruises.
