The tragic shooting at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, March 27th has left the community reeling.

Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old former student at the school, sent a chilling “suicide note” to her friend, Averianna Patton, just minutes before carrying out the attack that claimed the lives of three children and three adults.

In her message to Patton, Hale wrote, “So basically that post I made on here about you, that was basically a suicide note. I’m planning to die today.”

She went on to say, “THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die.” Hale identified as transgender and used the name Aiden in her message to Patton.

The friend tried to comfort and encourage Hale and subsequently reached out to the Suicide Prevention Help Line, as she had been instructed to do by her father.

She also called the Nashville Davidson County Sheriff’s Office about the matter and was instructed to call Nashville’s non-emergency number.

However, despite her efforts to get help for her friend, police were not able to prevent the tragic outcome.

Hale went on to gun down three 9-year-olds and three staffers before being fatally shot by police. Officials have said that Hale left behind a manifesto and a map that she used to plan the massacre.

This horrific event highlights the importance of taking seriously any indications of suicidal ideation or violent intent.

If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide or harming others, it is important to seek help immediately. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24/7 at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) for anyone in the United States who needs support.

  1. Fight against homosexuality addiction, drug addiction, religion addiction, and trans addiction MENTAL ILLNESSES !!! … Don’t let the Democrats promote that mind sickness!

    1. Up to Democrats, she would not had access to an assault rifle.
All addictions are damaging, but the gun fetish is the worst.
Most gay people do not go around doing mass shootings, usually the mass shootings are committed by right wingers and gun cultists.

  2. Maybe we should block out the name and any information about anybody that does things like this. It seems like people that have lives in obscurity and are losers beyond remedy, just want the notoriety of having done something horrific.

Why do our society and the media makes these people famous? Ever since the James brothers and other bandits and killers we seem to glorified these losers and evil doers and now with the society that lives around social media is getting worst. Also, why do we allow people like this to have access to semi-auto weapons?
