In an interview on “The Adam Friedland Show,” former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo expressed his disdain for actor Sylvester Stallone, known for his iconic roles in movies like “Rocky,” “Creed,” and “Rambo.” Cuomo referred to Stallone as a “cartoonish fool” and admitted that he didn’t love the characters portrayed by the 76-year-old actor.

The conversation took an unexpected turn when podcast host Adam Friedland asked Cuomo about his former co-worker, Wolf Blitzer, and whether Blitzer had ever engaged in inappropriate behavior.

Cuomo swiftly responded with a firm “no” and praised Blitzer as a hardworking and good-hearted individual, referring to him as “the captain” during their time together.

Friedland playfully compared Blitzer to a Stallone character, suggesting that Blitzer embodied similar qualities. Cuomo replied, emphasizing that Blitzer was an earnest and genuine person, unlike the perceived caricatures played by Stallone.

While Cuomo’s comments may be his personal opinion, they have stirred some controversy. Page Six has reached out to Sylvester Stallone for a response to Cuomo’s remarks.

This is not the first time Cuomo has made provocative statements. Last year, after being fired by CNN amid a controversy involving his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, he shared that he “was going to kill everybody” following his termination. Cuomo has been open about seeking therapy and acknowledging his mistakes.

It’s worth noting that the choice of appearing on Friedland’s podcast itself could be considered controversial. The podcast host faced backlash earlier this year for making offensive remarks during an interview with The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy. The episode was removed by Spotify due to its offensive content.

  1. Who gives a rats ass what this jackass thinks he only got a job because of his father. Cuomo wishes his career was as successful as Stallone.
