The ordeal, documented by Longoria on her Instagram, shows her speaking with a United official identified as Gabriella. This official informed Longoria that statements were being gathered from witnesses and that it was ultimately the captain’s decision to have her removed from the flight. The official also cited “transgender comments” and “derogatory comments about being a bigot” as reasons for the family’s ejection—a charge Longoria finds bewildering and baseless.
