So here we are, folks—another chilling episode in the globalist assault on free speech. Jurij C. Kofner, an economist affiliated with Alternative for Germany (AfD), found himself in the crosshairs of this Orwellian nightmare last month at Chicago’s airport. His crime? Possessing a meme. Yes, you heard that right—a meme.
Kofner was on his way to Springfield, Illinois, to attend a seminar on “Classical Liberalism and Business” at the University of Springfield, organized by the American Institute of Economic Research and the Academy on Capitalism. But instead of engaging in intellectual discourse, he spent 10 grueling hours being interrogated by U.S. officials. His phone was seized, his privacy violated, and his dignity trampled—all for a meme that depicted President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as soldiers on D-Day, with the caption: “Warmongers in the front row, as it should be.”
Now, why would a harmless piece of satire be enough to get someone barred from the Land of the Free? Simple. Kofner is part of the AfD, a political party that dares to challenge the globalist narrative. And in today’s world, that’s enough to get you labeled as a “right-wing extremist.” The AfD has been gaining traction in the polls, which has predictably led to calls from some quarters in Germany for the party to be banned. When you start gaining momentum against the establishment, they come after you—and they come hard.
Kofner himself summed it up perfectly: “Like Trump, the AfD is right-wing but discredited by the mainstream media as supposedly far-right because, not unlike Trump and his faction in the Republican Party, it is the only real political alternative willing and able to curb the globalist corporate-media-state conglomerate, restore national sovereignty, stop illegal immigration, preserve people’s cultural identity, and bring peace to Ukraine.”
And let’s talk about this so-called “Russian influence” on the AfD. Kofner, quite rightly, called out this narrative as a smokescreen. The real foreign influence in Germany isn’t coming from Moscow—it’s coming from Washington. The U.S. regularly funds compliant journalists and political conventions for the establishment parties in Germany. Meanwhile, German politicians and media figures eagerly line up for career advancements as “Young Leaders” at U.S. think tanks like the Atlantic Bridge, the Marshall Fund, and the Aspen Institute. Yet, somehow, it’s the AfD that’s supposed to be the threat?
Kofner also highlighted the AfD’s good relations with groups like the New York Young Republican Club and Republicans for National Renewal. He made it clear that his party is not a threat to America—in fact, the opposite is true. The real travesty is that an economist like Kofner is being treated like a criminal for merely questioning the globalist status quo.
“The ten-hour interrogation with mostly stupid questions, the confiscation of my phone, and my subsequent denial of entry at the US border due to a meme only reveal the weakness of the Biden administration and the forces behind it,” Kofner said. He’s absolutely right. This entire episode is nothing more than an attempt to intimidate and silence those who dare to speak out against the globalist agenda.
Kofner’s ordeal is just the latest example of how the West is descending into an Orwellian nightmare. The globalist regime is terrified—terrified that people like Kofner, who advocate for national sovereignty and cultural identity, will gain traction and upset their carefully constructed house of cards. So, they resort to tactics straight out of a dystopian novel—harassment, censorship, and intimidation.
But let’s be clear: This isn’t just about Jurij C. Kofner. This is about every single person who believes in freedom, in sovereignty, in the right to speak your mind without fear of retribution. The globalists can try to silence us, but they won’t succeed. The truth will always find a way to be heard. And when it does, no amount of interrogation, confiscation, or deportation will be able to stop it.
