A Delta Air Lines flight attendant was caught on video unleashing a fiery tirade on a Southwest Airlines gate agent at Atlanta Airport, calling her “ghetto” and “unprofessional” in front of stunned travelers.
The male flight attendant, still in uniform after landing, followed the female Southwest worker through the terminal, loudly accusing her of offering “the worst customer service” he’d ever experienced.
“This is ridiculous. This is the worst airport, and y’all make Southwest look horrible,” he shouted, dragging his suitcase behind him as other passengers looked on. “That customer service is ridiculous.”
As the gate agent tried to keep calm and walk away, the man continued to hurl insults, sneering and accusing her of representing the airline poorly.
“That’s because it’s Atlanta, y’all have no respect for customer service. Y’all need to clean it up, clean it up because I’m just trying to take a flight,” he yelled, adding that he didn’t “have to take Southwest” because he could “take Delta.”
When the Southwest employee raised her hand to signal him to calm down, the flight attendant snapped, “Get your hands out of my face. You are something. You are nothing. Where’s your name tag at? You ghetto.”
He then ranted that coworkers had warned him “not to transfer here” because the staff was “ridiculous and ghetto.”
“Atlanta gotta clean itself up — this is supposed to be the black Mecca, and y’all can’t even carry yourself with class,” he shouted before she finally told him to go back to Delta if he didn’t like it.

The viral clip, posted by @thecrewroom_ on Instagram, ends with the Southwest employee walking away while the flight attendant continues ranting.
The outburst immediately set off a debate online. Some commenters sided with the flight attendant, saying Atlanta’s customer service is notoriously bad.
“ATL does suck with their customer service, he ain’t lying,” one person wrote.
But many others slammed the Delta employee for acting out in uniform.
“Sir, you were doing too much in uniform,” one user wrote.
“There is a time, place, and way to handle issues respectfully and professionally. He did neither,” another commented. “He allowed his ego to outshine his uniform. He should be required to do a public apology if he wants to keep his job.”
Neither Delta nor Southwest has commented publicly on the incident, but social media is already calling it one of the most unprofessional airline employee meltdowns of the year.
