A Brooklyn, NY afternoon turned chaotic after a woman allegedly launched a string of unprovoked attacks inside and outside a neighborhood restaurant, leaving multiple people injured, police said.

According to the New York City Police Department, 44-year-old Hilda Grullon stormed into Burrito Bar & Kitchen at 307 Flatbush Avenue around 3:28 p.m. Saturday and struck a 63-year-old man with a glass bottle.

Investigators say the suspect then fled the Tex-Mex restaurant and continued her rampage on the sidewalk, attacking four more people at random. Police said a 52-year-old man and two women, ages 20 and 53, were punched in the face during the outburst.

The final victim, a 36-year-old woman, was allegedly hit in the head with a cellphone.

Emergency responders transported the first victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn for treatment. The other four victims declined medical attention at the scene, police said.

Grullon, a Brooklyn resident, was taken into custody shortly after the incidents. Authorities described the assaults as unprovoked, and the investigation remains ongoing.
