Teen Burned Alive on Train Roof After Viral Stunt Goes Horribly Wrong

A 14-year-old boy’s attempt to pull off a dangerous social media stunt ended in unimaginable horror after he was electrocuted and burned alive on top of a moving train.

The teen, identified as Danil, was “train surfing” on the roof of a commuter train near Moscow — a risky trend that’s been gaining traction online — when tragedy struck.

According to reports, Danil began tampering with the train’s power equipment while on top of the carriage. In an instant, he was hit with a massive electric shock.

The impact was so powerful, officials say, that his body caught fire.

The horrifying moment was reportedly captured on a friend’s GoPro camera.

Witnesses say the incident caused major delays across the rail system as emergency crews rushed to the scene, while officials once again warned about what they’re calling a growing and deadly craze among teenagers.

Train surfing — where kids climb onto moving trains for thrills or social media content — has become a serious problem in parts of Russia.

Authorities say dozens of young people are killed or injured every year attempting the stunt.

In Moscow alone, there were 29 incidents last year that resulted in casualties, with 57 people injured — including children as young as 10.

Officials say the numbers nationwide are even higher.

What’s most alarming, experts warn, is that the trend continues even after teens witness their friends being killed or severely injured.

“Even when children see their friends dying or being seriously injured, it doesn’t stop them,” said children’s ombudswoman Ksenia Mishonova. “They still climb onto trains and put their lives at risk.”

Lawmakers are now pushing to crack down harder, with proposals to classify train surfing as a form of extremism — which could mean fines or even detention for both teens and their parents.

But for Danil, the consequences came far too fast.
