Scientology’s biggest annual celebration just got a whole lot more explosive.

Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Elisabeth Moss were reportedly front and center at the church’s star-studded Florida event, giving leader David Miscavige a standing ovation as he unveiled a controversial new push aimed at children — a moment that is already fueling outrage.

The high-profile gathering, held March 14 at Ruth Eckerd Hall, was meant to celebrate what would have been founder L. Ron Hubbard’s 115th birthday. Instead, it has sparked fresh alarm over where the organization may be headed next.

Photos released by Scientology appeared to show Cruise, Travolta, and Moss seated together in prime spots among the church’s inner circle, donors, and celebrity loyalists. As Miscavige took the stage, the trio reportedly rose to applaud in a public show of support that did not go unnoticed.

According to Tony Ortega of The Underground Bunker, the event was a major flex for Miscavige, who seemingly had three of Scientology’s biggest celebrity names right where he wanted them — in the front row, standing and cheering him on.

And then came the bombshell.

During his speech, Miscavige reportedly rolled out what he called a “Golden Age for the New Generation,” a new initiative focused on younger audiences. Leaked audio from the event suggested the plan includes children’s books built around Scientology teachings, setting off immediate backlash from critics who say the church is making an aggressive move to hook kids early.

Ortega did not hold back, blasting the program as a disturbing effort to recruit a new generation into Scientology. That accusation instantly turned what was supposed to be a celebratory night into yet another storm of controversy.

The room was also packed with other familiar faces tied to Scientology’s orbit, including Doug E. Fresh, Jenna and Bodhi Elfman, Grant and Elena Cardone, and Jason Dohring. But one reported attendee drew especially harsh attention.

Ortega claimed Dr. David Minkoff was also seated near the celebrity crowd. The doctor has long been a controversial name linked to Scientology, having lost his medical license for a year after his involvement in the 1995 death of Lisa McPherson. He has also been named in a lawsuit tied to the 2022 death of Whitney Mills.

For Cruise, Travolta, and Moss, the appearance served as a striking reminder of just how deeply connected they remain to the church.

Cruise famously joined Scientology in the 1980s after being introduced through then-wife Mimi Rogers. Travolta’s ties date back to the 1970s. Moss, meanwhile, was born into the religion and has remained one of its most recognizable second-generation stars.

With A-list celebrities applauding from the front row and Miscavige pushing a controversial new strategy involving children, Scientology’s biggest night of the year did not just celebrate its past — it sent a chilling signal about its future.

  1. Is there something to be scared of about scientology? Don’t think it orders its customers to mass murder everyone on the planet like religions do…

In Dianetics, the founding book of Scientology, it does go psychotic about page 115…

Tom Cruise’s 3rd wife was Catholic Katie Holmes from around here… it probably caused problems that her religion ordered her to kill Tom for having the wrong beliefs… she just needed him to get her career jump started…

Many people only claim to have a religion so the religics won’t murder them… which was legal before the USA was formed…
