According to Paul Burrell, the late Princess Diana’s former butler, Prince Harry will attend his father’s coronation without his wife, Meghan Markle, as she is allegedly not “brave or strong enough” to attend. Burrell also stated that the King has maintained the moral high ground by inviting the exiled royals to the coronation on May 6. Burrell served as Diana’s butler for over 10 years until her untimely death in 1997.

“It’s likely to be incredibly uncomfortable for them if they attend, particularly Meghan,” the 64-year-old told Closer Magazine. “Are they prepared to face the music?”

“I don’t think Meghan’s brave or strong enough to be there — she’d have to look in the eyes of a family she’s pushed under the bus,” he continued.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have recently received invitations to the coronation, but they are still undecided on whether they will make the 5,459-mile trip. Burrell acknowledged that the final decision rests with Harry and Meghan, but he also pointed out that it may be emotionally challenging for Harry to see Queen Consort Camilla in a position that could have been occupied by his late mother.

In his revealing memoir titled “Spare,” Harry disclosed many family secrets and private conversations.

During an interview with “60 Minutes” to promote his book, the Duke referred to Camilla as a “villain” and accused her of being the third person in Charles and Diana’s marriage. This comment was reportedly a significant factor in the King’s decision to remove the Sussexes from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage.

Representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stated that they will not disclose an immediate decision on whether they will attend the coronation.

According to a source within the royal family who spoke to the Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to be met with hostility by many relatives at the coronation, with some even hoping they will be seated in Iceland. The source added that much of the family wants nothing to do with the couple and has no desire to socialize with them. However, if they are present at the coronation, they will have to see them.
