Specifics of the Flights: The independent candidate stressed that the travels took place well in advance of the public’s knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s illicit endeavors. Kennedy reiterated his denials that he was ever by himself on Epstein’s flight and related how his family was acquainted with Ghislaine Maxwell, who was said to have provided them a trip to Palm Beach.

Statements That Seem to Be in Contradiction: Kennedy’s latest remarks appear to be at odds with earlier details that his representative gave to Newsweek. Prior to this, the spokesman had stated that Kennedy visited his mother for Easter and only took one flight aboard Epstein’s aircraft. Ghislaine Maxwell connections: Kennedy admitted that he had a “relationship” with Ghislaine Maxwell through his late ex-wife Mary Richardson Kennedy. Senate Involvement: In order to obtain a list of passengers who flew on Epstein’s jet, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) has requested that the Senate Judiciary Committee execute a subpoena against Epstein’s estate.
