Prince Harry and Prince William are expected to attend their cousin Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding, but insiders say the brothers won’t be sitting or taking photos together due to their ongoing feud. According to a senior palace staffer, “The feud is still active and raw.”
Sources say both princes have made it clear there will be no photos, no interaction, and absolutely no sitting next to one another at the event. One insider revealed that William’s team is demanding a prime seat that reflects his future role as king, with Harry’s position deliberately placed below his to emphasize the hierarchy.
Meanwhile, a source close to Harry says he plans to arrive separately from William and refuses to join any family photos. “He doesn’t want to be part of some fake PR reunion,” the source said. “He’s not interested in pretending things are fine when they’re not.”
The atmosphere at the wedding is expected to be tense, with no speeches, toasts, or warm moments between the brothers — just cold distance. The groom is reportedly unhappy about the drama casting a shadow over what should be a celebration.
Adding to the tension, reports say Prince William has already decided Harry will have no official role or title in the monarchy once he becomes king. “Harry’s future in the U.K. is over,” an insider said. “He’s not just being sidelined — he’s being cut out entirely.”
The feud dates back to when Harry and Meghan left the U.K. for America in 2020, but things worsened after Harry’s memoir Spare came out, where he made unflattering remarks about William and Kate Middleton. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield explained that William was “deeply hurt” by Harry’s words, especially because of his strong protective feelings toward Kate. “She’s always loved him, always treated him like a little brother.
