What was supposed to be an unforgettable day for one young tennis fan turned into a viral outrage after a shocking incident at the U.S. Open.

On Friday, Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak celebrated a hard-fought victory by signing autographs and handing out memorabilia to fans. In a heartwarming gesture, he removed his cap and passed it to a young boy named Brock, who had been cheering courtside.

But as Brock reached out for the gift, a man standing next to him allegedly ripped the cap right out of his hands.

Video of the moment spread like wildfire on social media, with users quickly identifying the alleged culprit as Piotr Szczerek, CEO of the Polish paving company Drogbruk.

“If you’re the jerk who snatched Majchrzak’s cap out of the child’s hand, I’d get out in front of this,” one user posted. “Find out how to get the hat back to the kid and make a public apology. This won’t end well unless you make it right quickly.”

The backlash has been intense, with many demanding accountability and calling for Szczerek to issue a public apology.

Word of the incident quickly reached Majchrzak, who later posted a video showing him meeting Brock again — this time ensuring the young fan finally got a cap of his own. In the clip, Brock beams proudly while wearing the hat, an attempt by Majchrzak to turn the day around for his supporter.

“I couldn’t let him leave disappointed,” Majchrzak reportedly told local reporters. “Fans like him make moments like this so special.”

The Daily Beast has reached out to Drogbruk for comment, but as of Saturday, the company has not responded.

For now, the video continues to circulate, racking up millions of views as outraged tennis fans around the world demand justice for Brock.
