Horror Fire Erupts Inside Packed Nightclub as Panic Erupts and Man Is Arrested

Panic erupted at a packed nightclub after flames suddenly tore through the building, forcing hundreds of partygoers to run for safety in the middle of the night.

A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following a fire at Pink Punters, a popular LGBT+ nightclub in Fenny Stratford, Milton Keynes, UK. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday while the venue was full of revellers.

According to Thames Valley Police, the suspect—who is from Milton Keynes—remains in custody. Authorities have not released a motive and are urging the public not to jump to conclusions as the investigation continues.

Inside the club, the atmosphere quickly turned from celebration to chaos.

Eyewitness Molly Firman said the situation escalated without warning. One moment people were enjoying their night, and the next, staff and security were shouting for everyone to get out immediately.

“Out of nowhere, they were screaming ‘you need to get out now,’” she said, describing the terrifying moments as the situation unfolded.

For many, it didn’t feel real.

“It just didn’t seem real in the moment… Am I dreaming this? Is it actually happening?” Firman recalled. “Before you knew it, it was just intense.”

Flames and smoke could be seen pouring from the top of the building as crowds evacuated the venue. Despite the frightening scene, officials confirmed there were no reports of injuries—a detail that many are calling nothing short of a miracle given how quickly the fire spread.

Firman, who traveled from Clophill, Bedfordshire, said she had been to Pink Punters countless times and was inside with friends when the fire broke out. Like many regulars, she expressed concern about the future of the iconic venue, saying it would be devastating if it never reopened.

The nightclub has long been considered a staple of the local nightlife scene, particularly within the LGBT+ community, making the incident even more shocking for those who know and love the space.
