A woman in São Paulo was arrested after allegedly stabbing a hairstylist in the middle of a busy salon because she was furious over a haircut she received weeks earlier.
Wild surveillance footage captured the terrifying moment 27-year-old Lais Gabriela Barbosa da Cunha allegedly pulled a knife from her purse and stabbed celebrity hairstylist Eduardo Ferrari in the back while he worked on another client.
The shocking attack unfolded Tuesday inside the salon and sent workers and customers scrambling in panic.
In the video, Ferrari has his back turned while focusing on a client in the chair. Da Cunha can be seen hovering nearby before suddenly reaching into her handbag, pulling out a knife, and lunging at him.

Two men immediately rushed to restrain her as Ferrari spun around in shock before running toward the exit after realizing he had been stabbed.
Additional footage showed security guards wrestling Da Cunha to the ground while stunned salon workers gathered around. At one point, another hairstylist appeared to strike her as she was being restrained.
According to reports, the violent confrontation stemmed from a dispute that began after Da Cunha visited the salon on April 7 for highlighting and texturizing treatments.
Employees claimed she initially appeared thrilled with the results and even posted positively about the makeover online.
But days later, staff said she began bombarding the salon with complaints, demanding a refund and allegedly threatening Ferrari.
She reportedly claimed the haircut made her resemble Jimmy Five — known in Brazil as “Cebolinha” — a famous comic-book character recognized for his uneven hairstyle.
“He just hacked away at my hair with thinning scissors,” she allegedly said in a social media video while showing off her bangs.
Salon staff refused to issue a refund, saying the service had been completed exactly as agreed upon. But according to employees, Da Cunha’s anger only escalated from there.
Workers told police she allegedly threatened to “set fire” to Ferrari and later warned he would “die one way or another” if she didn’t get her money back.
When she unexpectedly showed up at the salon Tuesday demanding an immediate solution, employees called the building’s doorman to help remove her because she was causing a disturbance.
Moments later, the alleged stabbing happened.
Fortunately, Ferrari’s injuries were reportedly minor. Medical examinations later found the wound to be superficial.
Police say Da Cunha allegedly confessed to the attack and also admitted to directing homophobic insults at Ferrari before the stabbing.
After the horrifying ordeal, Ferrari released a statement saying the salon would not stay silent.
“Attempted murder is an extremely serious crime and must be treated accordingly,” he said.
He also revealed the salon is now reviewing its security procedures and considering relocating to a safer location to better protect staff and clients.
