Disturbing prison CCTV has revealed the moment three inmates followed convicted child killer Kyle Bevan into his cell before stabbing him to death.
Lee Newell, 57, Mark Fellows, 47, and David Taylor, 64, were seen laughing and joking together inside HMP Wakefield, a high-security prison in England, on Nov. 4, 2025, before the deadly attack unfolded.
Bevan, 33, was serving a life sentence for murdering 2-year-old Lola James, the daughter of his girlfriend, in Haverfordwest, Wales, in 2020. He had been ordered to serve at least 28 years in prison.
According to footage shown in court, the three men appeared to stalk Bevan inside the prison before following him toward his cell on the fourth floor around 5:45 p.m.
The video showed Newell standing outside the cell door before suddenly rushing inside. Fellows and Taylor followed him in, with Taylor seen pulling an item from his waistband as he entered.

What happened next was a brutal attack that lasted less than five minutes.
Leeds Crown Court heard that Bevan was stabbed more than 25 times in the neck and body with homemade weapons, including a piece of metal taken from the back of a television and sharpened into a blade.
Prosecutors said another weapon caused additional injuries. Evidence showed that Bevan’s heart and blood vessels were damaged, and he died from blood loss.
After the attack, the three inmates positioned Bevan’s body to make it look like he was asleep. He was not found until the next morning, after another prisoner tipped off staff.
When prison workers discovered Bevan’s body during roll call, the facility was placed on lockdown.
Searches of the defendants’ cells later uncovered items with Bevan’s blood on them, including a sharpened piece of metal. Other items described in court as homemade weapons were also found in Taylor’s cell.
The court heard that Newell, Fellows, and Taylor did not usually associate with Bevan, who had been classified as a vulnerable prisoner. They also would not normally have gone to the fourth-floor area where his cell was located.
CCTV from the days before the killing showed the three men spending time together. On the day of the murder, they were seen moving between cells on their floor before heading together to the fourth floor shortly before the attack.
On Thursday, all three men were found guilty of murdering Bevan.
The jury concluded that Newell, Fellows, and Taylor acted together and intended to kill Bevan or cause him serious harm.
Chief Inspector James Entwistle, the senior investigating officer, called the killing a “premeditated, brutal attack carried out inside a prison by three long-term inmates.”
“Fellows, Taylor and Newell’s actions showed a complete disregard for life and for the rules designed to keep people safe in custody,” he said.
“By their very nature, prisons are designed to deny offenders of their liberty, but they also need to be environments that are kept safe from unlawful violence.”
He added that the verdicts “ensure the continued safety of others by holding these dangerous individuals to account and ensuring they face the full weight of the law.”

I see no problem here. Those who harm children often face “prison justice”. Authorities know this and still put him in reach. They wanted it to happen. And it’s justified.
