Chaos on American Airlines Flight as Pilot Reports Multiple Passengers Burned

American Airlines passengers faced a frightening landing in Dallas after smoke suddenly filled the cabin and several people were reportedly burned.

The incident happened on a flight traveling from Atlanta to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

According to American Airlines, the smoke was traced to a passenger’s laptop.

As the aircraft was coming in to land, the pilot alerted air traffic control and requested medical crews meet the plane on the ground.

The pilot reportedly said four to five passengers had suffered burn injuries.

Airport officials later said one person was treated at the scene and released.

It was not immediately clear how the other passengers were injured, how serious their burns were, or exactly what happened to the laptop before the cabin began filling with smoke.

American Airlines said the source of the smoke was the passenger’s computer.

The flight was able to land safely at Dallas-Fort Worth.

Emergency crews were waiting when the plane arrived.
