The United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) just announced that by 2026, it will open six new gender identity clinics, claiming these will “provide tailored gender services.” This decision, based on recommendations from a recent report by Dr. Hilary Cass, might sound like progress to some, but let’s be clear: this is nothing short of a dangerous social experiment on children.

Dr. Cass’s comprehensive report, released in April, was supposed to be a wake-up call. It documented shocking gaps in the way the NHS has been handling cases of children with gender identity issues. The report revealed that medical professionals have been operating with “no guidance, no evidence, no training” when it comes to gender disorders. These professionals were terrified to even discuss the topic, let alone question the wisdom of pushing children down the path of irreversible medical interventions. And yet, here we are, watching the NHS double down on this disastrous approach.

The findings of the Cass Review are damning. Dr. Cass, a former president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, pulled no punches when she stated that the medical push to transition children’s gender was “built on shaky foundations.” That’s polite language for saying this whole thing is a house of cards, and it’s our kids who are paying the price.

But don’t take my word for it—look at the facts. The Cass Review found that puberty blockers, a so-called “treatment” for gender dysphoria, didn’t even help kids feel better about their bodies. Worse still, the evidence on the mental effects of these treatments is sketchy at best. Yet, activists and politicians, in their infinite wisdom, decided to ignore these inconvenient truths and push ahead with their agenda.

The NHS’s decision to transform its gender healthcare services is being spun as a positive move. They’re talking about a “holistic approach,” about addressing mental health, and making care more accessible. It all sounds great on paper, but the reality is far more sinister. They’re still treating children as guinea pigs in an ongoing experiment that has no clear endpoint and no solid evidence to support it.

Dr. Cass herself admitted that implementing these recommendations will be “the most challenging” step. She claims the vision is to “increase available services for gender-questioning young people,” but at what cost? The NHS is now enforcing stricter standards for referrals, requiring that all new cases go through mental health or pediatric services. While that might seem like a step in the right direction, it’s a mere band-aid on a gaping wound.

The truth is, the NHS is scrambling to clean up a mess of its own making. Remember, this is the same NHS that ordered the closure of the Tavistock gender identity clinic last year after the Cass Report revealed it was rushing children into transgender procedures. The Tavistock clinic, which became infamous for its reckless approach, was finally shut down in July 2022 amid safety concerns. And just this March, the NHS banned the use of puberty blockers for kids with gender dysphoria, citing—you guessed it—limited research.

But instead of taking a step back to re-evaluate, the NHS is plunging forward with new clinics and more experimental treatments. They’re setting up clinical trials to “establish the evidence” on puberty blockers, as if we need more proof that this is a dangerous path. Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting claims he wants “trans people in our country to feel safe, accepted, and able to live with freedom and dignity.” But what about the children? Where’s the concern for their safety, their well-being, and their future?

Two new clinics have already opened in London and Liverpool, with more on the way in Bristol and the East of England. And if you think this is just about kids, think again—the NHS is also planning a review into adult gender services, which will undoubtedly expand these questionable practices even further.

Let’s be clear: this is not about healthcare; this is about ideology. The NHS, once a beacon of evidence-based medicine, is now prioritizing a radical agenda over the well-being of children. These new gender clinics are not a solution—they’re a symptom of a system that’s lost its way. And it’s the children who will suffer the consequences of this dangerous experiment.
