Former royal butler Grant Harrold says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may tread carefully with future Netflix projects — but insiders claim the royal family fears one move above all others: another explosive tell-all.

Harrold, who once served King Charles, believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will aim to avoid further damaging relations with The Firm after striking a fresh multi-year, first-look deal with Netflix. The arrangement lets the streamer approve or reject proposed shows before they move forward, giving the platform more control over potentially controversial content.

The couple, who left royal life in 2020 for California, first signed with Netflix in a deal valued at more than $100 million. While the new contract reportedly offers them more flexibility, industry sources say it comes with less financial investment. Their past projects under Archewell Productions included the hit docuseries Harry & Meghan, which drew 23.4 million viewers in its first four days, along with Heart of Invictus, Live to Lead, and lifestyle programming.

But according to Harrold, the family’s biggest worry isn’t cooking shows or polo documentaries — it’s the chance Harry and Meghan might drop another bombshell on their strained royal relationships. “Their biggest concern will be another tell-all documentary on their fallouts with the family,” he warned, noting such a move could destroy what little progress has been made toward reconciliation.

The Sussexes’ latest slate includes the upcoming second season of Meghan’s lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, premiering August 26. The series promises heartwarming adventures with celebrity chefs, artists, and friends, designed to bolster the couple’s public image while keeping audiences engaged.

Still, with Netflix’s editorial oversight now in play, royal watchers are split over whether Harry and Meghan will stick to safe, uplifting content — or risk everything with one more headline-making royal exposé.
