Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, the disgraced “Good Morning America” anchors who were forced out after their workplace romance blew up two marriages and their network careers, are now trying to rebrand themselves as love gurus.
Sources tell us the pair has been shopping a tell-all relationship book focused on “resilience, healing, and transformation” — a pivot that’s raising more than a few eyebrows.
“They honestly believe their story has lessons for other couples,” one insider explained. “They see themselves as survivors who came out stronger, and they want to sell that wisdom.”
A Love Story That Cost Them Everything
In late 2022, Robach and Holmes’ secret romance went public when tabloid photographers caught them on steamy getaways while still married to other people. The scandal dominated headlines, embarrassed ABC, and led to their joint exit from GMA3 the following year.
Robach, 51, divorced actor Andrew Shue in the aftermath, while Holmes, 47, split from attorney Marilee Fiebig. Both marriages were reportedly blindsided by the affair.
“They wrecked families and careers,” one media critic told us. “And now they want to cash in on it with a love manual? It’s absurd.”
The backlash has already begun. One publishing insider said bluntly: “It’s like arsonists writing a guide to fire safety. You don’t get to torch your own marriages and then package the ashes as inspiration.”
Others point out that celebrity “redemption” books often sell big, no matter how controversial the author. “People are curious,” said a veteran publicist. “Even the critics will buy it just to hate-read.”
Robach and Holmes have been leaning into their coupledom since leaving ABC. They launched a joint podcast in 2023, where they’ve spoken candidly about the fallout of their affair. Their social media also showcases their romance — gym workouts, vacations, and plenty of PDA.
“They’ve doubled down on the brand of ‘us against the world,’” the insider said. “The book is just the next step.”
But skeptics say America may not be ready to take love lessons from a pair best known for betraying their vows.
As one former colleague quipped, “If this book hits the shelves, it’ll be in the fiction section.”
