A shocking investigation in Texas is unfolding after a mom who once claimed she was blindsided by her husband’s arrest is now accused of being deeply involved in the same alleged operation.

Ashley Ketcherside, a mother of three, was arrested this week on racketeering charges after authorities say she played a key role in a prostitution ring allegedly run out of her own home. Her husband, Michael Ketcherside, had already been arrested earlier this month in connection with the same case.

At the time of his arrest, Ashley publicly defended him, calling him a “great husband” and insisting she believed in the justice system. But investigators say a deeper look into the case told a very different story.

According to police, Ashley has two prior prostitution convictions and allegedly offered her own services for as much as $1,000 an hour. Authorities also claim she helped prepare and coach other women to engage in prostitution as part of the operation.

The investigation revealed that the couple’s home may have been a central hub for the alleged activity for years — and it wasn’t just random clients showing up.

Court documents suggest members of the local police department and their spouses were among those who allegedly frequented the gatherings, raising serious concerns about corruption.

The case took another turn when one of the men arrested led investigators to a former police chief, who allegedly confirmed Ashley’s high hourly rates. Authorities also say messages recovered from a burner phone backed up those claims.

Several individuals are now facing charges in connection with the case, including the former police chief and another ex-officer.

Beyond the alleged prostitution ring, prosecutors say the group may have also been collecting information on local officials and perceived “adversaries,” including members of the city council, school board, and even other police officers.

Ashley had previously been removed from a local school district committee after her past convictions came to light, and investigators say she was still advertising escort services online while participating in community activities.

She is currently being held on a $200,000 bond.

Her husband faces multiple charges, including promotion and solicitation of prostitution, along with racketeering, and is being held on a much higher bond. Other suspects connected to the case are either out on bond or facing additional charges.
