According to Fox News, Caitlyn Jenner has been hired as a contributor. Their first appearance is set for Thursday on Sean Hannity’s show.

A former Olympic decathlete and gubernatorial candidate, Jenner will offer commentary and analysis across the Fox platforms.

“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all,” said Suzanne Scott, Fox News Media chief executive. “She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience.”

Jenner won the Olympic gold medal in the decathlon in 1976. She later came out as transgender and identifies as a female.

More recently, Jenner ran in last year California gubernatorial recall race to unseat Gov. Gavin Newsom. Jenner, who also appeared on an Australian reality TV show and was followed by a camera crew during the campaign, was unsuccessful in the Republican primary.

Jenner has appeared regularly on Fox News in recent weeks, criticizing the NCAA’s transgender participation policy for athletes

She said in a statement she was “humbled by this unique opportunity” to speak directly to Fox’s audience.
