Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee defended the newly unearthed image of him donning a woman’s pearls and dress – even as he is preparing to sign a bill that would restrict drag performances.
The decades-photo was first posted on Reddit along with the caption: ‘As Tennessee moves forward to ban drag, enjoy a high school yearbook picture of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee in drag (Franklin High yearbook 1977, page 165).’
Lee graduated Franklin High School in 1977. The photo shows Lee wearing women’s clothing and is captioned ‘Hard Luck Woman.’
As social media users cried hypocrisy, Lee’s office said the photo did not fit the description of what would be banned under the law.

The bill, which is making its way through the GOP-led state legislature, would prohibit sexually explicit drag performances public property, particularly areas where children could be.
The bill makes the first offense a Class A misdemeanor and subsequent offenses a Class E felony, which could carry fines of up to $3,000 and prison sentences of one to six years.
An earlier version of the bill vaguely outlawed performances that ‘appeal to prurient interest.’ But the bill has since been amended to outlaw ‘performances that are harmful to minors, as that term is defined in § 39-17-901.’ That is a reference to how Tennessee already defines unlawful sexual obscenity.
But some state lawmakers are left scratching their heads as they point out that the bill doesn’t actually outlaw drag shows unless they violate the state’s obscenity laws that are already in place.
‘If you’re being obscene in front of children, it is already illegal, correct? If you’re wearing lederhosen and being obscene in front of children, you’ll be arrested, correct?’ state Rep. Gloria Johnson, D–Knoxville, pointed out Thursday prior to the bill’s passage.

No big deal to dress in drags, but I must admit it is enjoyable when these holier than God hypocrites are brought forth.
Simple, Drag shows should have similar age limits as alcohol or x-rated theaters.
I wouldn’t consider Lee to be holier-than-thou bc he thinks it’s disgusting to have drag queens prancing around in public with their implanted D cup tits bare or their dicks on full display!

This picture was taken decades ago and doesn’t indicate that Gov. Lee is in any way a drag queen. Just high schoolers having fun at the end of their senior year. There’s always the media digging up dirt wherever they could find it.

I highly encourage the left to start going to a psychiatrist to deal with your mental issues, get on some meds to bring you back to reality and stop causing problems. If you are that messed up then I suggest a good mental institution.

The yearbook photo was from the good old days when it hilarious to see men dress as women as a joke, today men dress as women to compete against us and try to mansplain womanhood! Big difference!
