In a bizarre incident at Disneyland in California, a naked man made headlines as he stripped down and roamed around the iconic “It’s a Small World” attraction. The startling episode unfolded on Sunday, leaving park guests in shock and resulting in the temporary closure of the beloved ride.
The Streaker’s Escapade: Around 1:30 p.m. local time, guests at Disneyland were taken aback when a naked man was spotted near the “It’s a Small World” ride. Numerous videos of the incident surfaced on social media, capturing the man wearing only a pair of glasses and underwear in some clips, while in others, he wandered outside the attraction completely unclothed. Astonished onlookers witnessed the streaker taking an impromptu dip in the water, further escalating the unusual scene.
Police Intervention: As the incident unfolded, park security and staff attempted to corral the naked man, but the situation escalated. Eventually, police officers arrived at the scene and arrested the individual. Videos from the scene show officers carrying the man away, with one bystander expressing dismay over the inappropriate display in front of children.
Attraction Closure: The incident prompted Disneyland authorities to temporarily shut down the “It’s a Small World” attraction for over an hour. Park guests were left astonished by the unexpected turn of events, and the closure disrupted the typical flow of the ride.
Guest Reactions: Despite the disruption, some park attendees commended the swift response of Disneyland staff in handling the situation. One guest told FOX11 Los Angeles that the cast members near the ride “did an excellent job handling the situation to the best of their abilities.” The incident, while shocking, showcased the dedication of Disneyland employees in ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors.
Arrest and Charges: Anaheim Police Sgt. Jon McClintock provided details on the arrest, stating that the 26-year-old man was taken into custody for indecent exposure and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure. As of now, his identity has not been released to the public.
