The glittering world of social media collided with cartel violence when Mexican authorities arrested OnlyFans model Angie Miller in connection with the shocking murders of two Colombian musicians.

Miller, 29 — real name Angélica Yetsei Torrini León — was detained on September 23 by Mexico’s elite anti-kidnapping unit. Her arrest followed the grisly discovery of her boyfriend, Bayron Sánchez Salazar, and fellow performer Jorge Luis Herrera outside Mexico City. Both men were brutally tortured, dismembered, and dumped with a cartel “warning” note signed by La Familia Michoacana, a notorious drug-trafficking group designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. government.

Salazar, known in the reggaeton scene as “B-King,” was just 31. Herrera, who performed under the name DJ Regio Clown, was 35.

The two musicians were last seen September 16, heading to the gym in Mexico City’s upscale Polanco district. They never returned. Their bodies were discovered the next day but weren’t identified until nearly two weeks later.

Local media reported that Miller was among the last people who knew the men’s whereabouts before they disappeared. Prosecutors have not explained why she was taken into custody, but Spanish newspaper El País reported that she was summoned to testify in the case. She was released after questioning as the investigation continues.

“She was close to both men, and that put her squarely in the spotlight,” a law enforcement source told El País.

Miller, who has more than 130,000 Instagram followers and is known for selling sex toys modeled on her body, had publicly begged her fans to help find Salazar and Herrera before their deaths were confirmed.

“Need your support to bring home @regioclownn and @bkingoficial!” she wrote on September 17. Days later, after the bodies were recovered, she posted a tribute: “May your music bring you well🙏🏻❤️.”

The influencer’s sudden shift from grieving girlfriend to potential suspect has stunned followers.

“She used her platform to rally support, and now she’s linked to the very case she cried about online,” one Colombian fan wrote on X.

The murders have sparked outrage in Colombia, where Salazar’s manager, Juan Camilo Gallego, revealed the singer had only traveled to Mexico for his first club performance.

“We stayed in the same hotel, and then suddenly, no calls, no responses,” Gallego told Noticias Caracol. “They were supposed to fly back to Colombia the very next day.”

Even Colombian President Gustavo Petro weighed in, blaming the violence on U.S. drug policy.

“They killed our youths in the United States of Mexico,” Petro declared on X. “An international mafia strengthened by the stupid military and prohibitionist policies called the ‘war on drugs.’ More young people killed by a policy that is not anti-drug trafficking.”

The presence of a La Familia Michoacana message at the murder scene suggests the killings were more than random violence. The cartel has long used high-profile, public executions to send chilling signals across Mexico’s entertainment world.

“Cartels are making examples of influencers, DJs, and musicians,” said Guadalupe Correa-Cabrera, a Mexican security expert. “These killings aren’t about money — they’re about power and fear.”

While Miller is no longer behind bars, prosecutors insist she remains under investigation. For now, the OnlyFans star has gone silent, her social media frozen in the days following her boyfriend’s death.

The case highlights the increasingly dangerous intersection of fame, nightlife, and cartel violence in Mexico — a mix that has left two young entertainers dead and one social media star fighting to clear her name.
