A shift at a Pennsylvania restaurant reportedly turned violent almost immediately after one employee clocked in—ending with two people injured and a man now wanted by police.

Authorities say 35-year-old McKinley Pace Jr. is accused of attacking a co-worker and the man’s wife inside DeNunzio’s restaurant in Jeannette on March 27.

According to a criminal complaint, the situation escalated just one minute into Pace’s shift.

Police say he began complaining about having to do other employees’ work before allegedly shouting, “I’ve had enough, I’m going to punch him in the face.”

The co-worker reportedly responded, “I’m right here, you don’t have to go upstairs.”

That’s when things turned physical.

Investigators say Pace allegedly lunged at the man and repeatedly punched him in the face. The victim’s wife told police that after the initial attack, Pace then turned toward her and struck her in the face as well.

By the time officers arrived, Pace had already left the scene.

A warrant was later issued for his arrest, and he is now wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and harassment.

Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward as they continue searching for him.
