Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is back in the spotlight after explosive leaked emails revealed what a former prison employee claims was shocking VIP treatment behind bars — including private visits, special meals, and direct access to the prison warden that other inmates could only dream about.

The bombshell allegations came from former Federal Prison Camp Bryan employee Noella Turnage, who says she was fired after leaking Maxwell’s private emails. During a fiery appearance on CNN, Turnage claimed prison officials bent over backward to accommodate the disgraced Epstein accomplice while ordinary inmates were left struggling to see their own families.

“What was being done for her was not common for any other inmates,” Turnage told CNN host Erin Burnett. “Not even the high-profile inmates.”

According to Turnage, one of the most outrageous incidents involved prison officials shutting down visitation for other inmates so Maxwell could allegedly enjoy a private meeting with visitors.

“They were not able to see their families that Saturday to make way for Maxwell to see her visitors,” Turnage claimed. “That was pretty disgusting to me.”

The accusations have reignited fury surrounding Maxwell’s transfer to the low-security federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas — a move that critics blasted as overly lenient for a woman convicted of helping late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein abuse underage girls.

Turnage said the leaked emails painted a picture of a prison experience far different from what average inmates face every day.

One alleged email from Maxwell to her brother reportedly described special treatment arranged for visitors flying in from the United Kingdom.

“I believe they will provide some water/coffee and snack,” Maxwell allegedly wrote. “There will be a coned off area for you.”

Meanwhile, Turnage claimed other inmates and their families are typically stuck relying on “overpriced vending machines” during visitation.

The former prison worker also accused the prison warden of personally handling Maxwell’s mail — something she described as “highly unusual.”

“For the most part, inmates do not have direct access to the warden,” Turnage said. “Certainly not at their convenience.”

Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted in 2022, has remained a lightning rod of controversy ever since her close ties to Epstein were exposed. Her transfer to the Texas prison camp in 2025 sparked outrage among victims’ families and former prison officials who feared she was receiving favorable treatment because of her connections.

Now, the controversy is growing even larger as reports surface that Maxwell is allegedly attempting to leverage the ongoing Epstein files scandal in hopes of securing a pardon or reduced sentence. According to reports, she has offered to testify about Epstein’s associates and co-conspirators in exchange for clemency.

The leaked emails and Turnage’s claims have only added fuel to the fire — and for many Americans still outraged over the Epstein scandal, the idea that Maxwell may have been living more comfortably than other inmates is triggering a fresh wave of anger online.

  1. These people never suffer the consequences they deserve. I think she is probably blackmailing someone and now she is running the show. Sorry excuse for a warden, maybe it’s time they are replaced with all this coming to light.
