North Korea is Horrifically Experimenting on Dwarfs

A recent report released by South Korea’s Ministry of Unification alleges that North Korea has been committing gross human rights violations, including the execution of a six-month pregnant woman and human experiments on people with dwarfism.

The report, which is based on testimony from over 500 North Koreans who fled the country between 2017 and 2022, details a range of abuses that have been carried out by the North Korean state.

According to the report, disabled people in North Korea have been forcibly sterilized by the state, and citizens have been put to death for being homosexual or for practicing their religion.

The report also suggests that executions are being widely carried out for acts that do not justify the death penalty, including drug crimes, distribution of South Korean videos, and engaging in superstitious activities.

One particularly shocking claim made in the report is that nurses have been forced to compile lists of people with dwarfism so that hysterectomies can be carried out on them.

The report also alleges that a six-month pregnant woman was executed after a video emerged of her dancing while pointing to a portrait of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

The report further claims that a group of teenagers were executed by firing squad after watching a video from South Korea and smoking opium.

The report describes North Korean citizens’ right to life as being greatly threatened, with the regime carrying out executions for minor offenses and engaging in other forms of torture and abuse.

The findings of the report are deeply concerning and raise serious questions about the North Korean regime’s respect for human rights. The international community must condemn these abuses and work towards bringing those responsible to justice.
