“Sir, when you look perplexed, people just think you’re perplexed. And this is our problem in this race.”
— Ron Klain, former Biden Chief of Staff

Washington, D.C. — A bombshell new book is sending shockwaves through the Democratic establishment, exposing what many Americans have suspected for years: Joe Biden wasn’t just unprepared for his showdown with Donald Trump — he was mentally checked out.

According to Chris Whipple’s upcoming book, Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History, former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain was stunned by Biden’s deteriorating state just days before the disastrous June 2024 debate.

“I had never seen him so exhausted and out of it,” Klain reportedly told Whipple.

Klain, who served as Biden’s top aide from 2021 to 2023, flew in to help prepare the president for his face-off with Trump. But what he found was a commander-in-chief too tired to focus, disconnected from reality, and — in his own words — “afraid of losing his voice.”

Poolside President: Napping While America Burned

According to the book, halfway through a prep session, Biden simply walked out to go sit by the pool — with a presidential election on the line.

He didn’t understand what Trump was saying. He had no message on inflation. And when it came to explaining a second-term vision?

“Nothing to say other than ‘finish the job,’” Klain revealed.

Worse, Biden was more interested in what foreign elites thought of him than the concerns of everyday Americans. “These guys say I’m doing a great job as president,” Biden reportedly said of NATO leaders. “So I must be a great president.”

A Strategy of Confusion?

Whipple writes that Biden believed looking confused during the debate would somehow make Trump look dumb. Klain, to his credit, tried to warn him.

“Sir, when you look perplexed, people just think you’re perplexed,” he told Biden.

That chilling moment turned out to be prophetic.

Mock Debates Lasted 25 Minutes — “Too Tired to Go On”

Biden reportedly couldn’t make it past 25 minutes during his second mock debate.

“I’m just too tired to continue,” he told aides, before heading off to bed.

The book describes Klain growing increasingly alarmed, fearing the debate would become a “nationally televised disaster.”

And on June 27, 2024, that’s exactly what happened.

The Fallout: Disaster, Denial, and a Hasty Retreat

Biden’s disastrous performance triggered widespread panic among Democrats and forced him to step down just three weeks later, handing the nomination to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Yet even after the meltdown, Klain publicly claimed Biden was still the “right candidate to beat Trump.” Now, he’s telling a very different story.

Why the sudden change? Was the Biden team knowingly misleading the American people about the president’s condition?

Trump Reacts: “I Told You So”

President Trump, speaking at a rally last month in Ohio, hinted at the revelations to come:

“They knew it. We all saw it. He couldn’t even finish a sentence — and they called me unfit?”

Now, Whipple’s book appears to confirm what conservatives, military leaders, and voters on the ground had been saying all along.

Joe Biden wasn’t running the show. He could barely run a meeting.
